OUR EXISTING PROJECTS
Fattlhoga Child Day Care Centre is situated 50km north of Rustenburg in a village called Mabele-a-Podi. Children (newborn – 7 years) are provided with daily meals, but also with the crucial pre-school & early learning development.
Currently we are in the process of ensuring reliable and permanent water supply to the school. This will enable us to establish safe and hygienic ablution facilities, as well as vegetable garden.
In the afternoon the center and church building are being used as a homework facility for primary school children in the area, where they receive a meal and badly needed assistance with their daily homework.
Our vision is to create a blue – print of this model, and create many more similar centres country wide.
Jafta & Betty Kekana is serving on Privilege Foundation’s board as directors, and is leading this project.
EBENEZER DAY CARE CENTRE
Ebenezer Day care Center is member school of Privilege Foundation School of Excellence ECD Support Center based in Matwabeng, Senekal Free State, the school is catering for 58 children in total ranging from the age of 00 to 06 years. The school is run successful under the stewardship of Mmakgahliso Emely Leburu as the founder and the principal together with the team of 07 stuff members and volunteers.
This is a fee paying school and children pay between R150 to R200 as the school is catering children in the most disadvantage area, the school provides from the monthly collected fee, two meals a day per child.
We are currently in a process of renovating the school through our CRPP program to give it a face lift and we welcome partners who would like to get involved in this project.
UPCOMING PROJECTS
Privilege Foundation together with our strategic partners, are embarking on a National roll out the model schools in other disadvantaged communities but modeling with three other school schools in Senekal as our pilot project.
We are very exited and looking forward to the journey of bringing change and hope to our communities and our beautiful children.
